Using shortcuts:

  • To select the input source you previously used, press Command-Space bar.
  • To select the next input source in the Input menu, press Command-Option-Space bar.
  • If Spotlight opens when you’re switching input sources, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Keyboard, and then click Keyboard Shortcuts. Select Spotlight on the left and deselect the Spotlight shortcut checkboxes on the right. Then, select Keyboard & Text Input on the left and select the “Select the previous input source” checkbox and the “Select the next source in Input menu” checkbox.

    Here’s How:
    1. To capture the entire desktop, press Command-Shift-3. The screen shot will be automatically saved as a PNG file on your desktop.
    2. To copy the entire desktop, press Command-Control-Shift-3. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program. More >

    SSH connect with custom user

    With a terminal window open, type this command:

    ssh -l (username) panix1.panix.com

    (Use your actual Panix login instead of “(username)”, of course.)This will take you to panix1, and give you a password prompt right away. Just enter your usual Panix password, and you’re in business.

    NOTE: You can go to panix2, panix3, or panix5 just by replacing “panix1″ with the one you want.
